Urban Leash & Treat is an independent web storefront owned by Kim and Gail Rahn Frederick.

Urban Leash & Treat offers natural and organic pet products that meet high standards for quality, sustainability and integrity. We offer human-grade dog and cat food treats made from natural and organic ingredients. We favor locally-sourced products made from sustainable materials. We believe that our pets are full-share family members who deserve the highest-quality food treats and supplies.

Kim is a pet professional and retail authority. For more than a decade, she worked as a veterinary technician specializing in surgery and emergency medicine. She later mastered inventory, distribution and retail management during eight years working for big-box and independent retailers.

Gail brings expertise in web development, e-commerce and small business accounting. She has a parallel career in the mobile software industry.

Kim and Gail are parents to a happy Labrador retriever named Nixon. She can often be found snoozing on her bed next to the racks of yummy and healthy dog and cat treats!
